The Hopeful Dose is a programme designed and run by Arshiya Foundation, Aimed at preventing the spread of diseases, and streamlining access to primary medical care among low income communities.
On the prevention side the programme, we will work in slum and homeless communities training them in hygiene and sanitation. The Hopeful Dose will also educate communities on diseases and their spread. Additionally, we will be helping communities practice basic home remedies and teaching them how to respond to disease-like situations and when to seek basic medical help.
Arshiya Foundation has a passion to create and provide frameworks that allow well-meaning citizens to do good for marginalized communities. The Foundations latest initiative, The Joyful Spoon, is a concerted effort to fighting hunger and malnutrition among the vulnerable homeless people in Mumbai.
To help decrease health risks, and increase access to basic healthcare among low income communities.
